K is for the Knights of Karma

For the A to Z challenge this year, I’m sharing science fiction and fantasy story ideas…

These aren’t Knights in the old-fashioned medieval swordsmen in armor sense. Instead, the Knights of Karma are a secret fraternal society. The knights believe that they have a direct line to the balancing force of the universe, and that they have been chosen to help make sure that the intents and deeds of all people come back to them. (Including other knights – they’re not immune from karma themselves, though they believe that doing their job well gets them some good karma.)

If you’re interested enough to pick this up and write your own version, feel free; ideas are cheap. And let me know! I’ll be keeping the notions vague enough that lots of different stories might be written from them.

Thanks for visiting!

  2. The Knights of Karma resonate – I believe in cosmic retribution, sort of same thing!

Ooh, I have some suggestions for the knights of karma – just in case they can’t find some of these people themselves! Very cute.

Sounds like an interesting concept. It would be interesting to see how it plays out, particularly in figuring out just who needs the cosmic retribution.
