M is for the Magic Milkshake

For the A to Z challenge this year, I’m sharing science fiction and fantasy story ideas…

So we’ve got a magic milkshake. Who serves it? A mom of course, to her daughter.

What’s the magic supposed to do? The mom is trying to make sure that she goes steady with a rich boy from a successful family, (despite the girl’s own ideas.) Maybe the boy gets a magic milkshake of his own.

If you’re interested enough to pick this up and write your own version, feel free; ideas are cheap. And let me know! I’ll be keeping the notions vague enough that lots of different stories might be written from them.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. Magical mother interference is a daughter’s relationship. Love this idea. Cool one.

  2. I have a daughter. And I bet she’ll love milkshakes when she’s old enough. But force her to marry some dude only for money — not with me. Except, of course, if he owns the world’s largest library. That could persuade me. 😉

Hmmm. Two interfering mothers. Sounds like they have a very devious plan in mind behind the scenes.

Love potion in a milkshake? Seems like a fantastic idea for a matchmaker mother. One that owns a nice little milkshake shop in town,..
