Frenzy!

F is for… (A-Z challenge)

So, I’ve been working on Script Frenzy for nearly a week now, and I’m at page 25 and a bit, which means that I’m a little bit ahead of being ‘on track.’ It’s been a lot of fun, mostly fairly smooth sailing, thanks to all of the prep work that I’ve done.

I’ve got a bit of a little snag though, something that I glossed over on the Beat Board. My main characters need to send some kind of a message to the Capitana of the Alien Mafia, and get a response back inviting them to visit her Spaceship Mansion, which brings them into Act Two.

The thing is, I want to do something that’s a bit funny and different from the usual tropes about this kind of thing. The best notion I can work up is that since Colann is so classy, instead of meeting a disreputable character in a chop-shop or something of the sort, they visit an office building and make an appointment with her lawyer, first thing. But I’m not quite sure about that.

Maybe I should just go ahead with the lawyer thing. It’ll be quick enough, and I don’t want to waste time with this. But I thought I’d ask all of you wonderfully creative people if you have suggestions for me, first.

One week until Script Frenzy starts. How’s my Board?

Well, here I am. It’s less than 7 days until the start of April starts. In one week, I’ll have started my screenplay.
