Weekend Writing Warriors – Never Found 1

Welcome friends, followers, and Weekend Writing Warriors!

Okay, time to change it up again! I’m sharing eight sentences from my Nano project “Never Found”, which I just started yesterday. Actually, as I type this skeleton post, it’s Monday, so I’m committing to write at least eight sentences on the first day of Nanowrimo. Shouldn’t be too hard…

Tricia was still in bed when she heard somebody knocking on the door. She rolled out, picked herself back up, went over, and pulled the door open. On the other side was a tall blonde girl in jeans and a black leather jacket. “Um, you’re not the coffee guy,” Tricia muttered, trying to make her nightie more substantial by pulling at it.

“No,” the blonde girl said, a smile quirking at the corner of her lips. “I’m not even the new coffee girl. You can tell that much, I suppose, by the fact that I’m not carrying any coffee.”

“Who are you and what the hell are you doing here so early?” Tricia asked.

Love your writing, really crisp and engaging. But if anyone turns up at my door without coffee? No more convo – no exceptions.
