Weekend Writing Warriors – Never Found 6

Welcome friends, followers, and Weekend Writing Warriors!

Good morning! I’m sharing eight more sentences from my Nano project “Never Found.” It’s hard to believe that November is over, isn’t it? My main character, Tricia, has been woken by a mysterious blonde stranger at her apartment…

Candice had a car parked across the street from Tricia’s building. It was so dark a brown as to be almost black, a four-seater with comfy seats and a flashy stereo. “Where are we headed?” Tricia asked as Candice pulled out onto the street.

“Downtown.  That’s part of the reason I came so early.”

“Okay, let’s talk,” Tricia said after a moment to confirm that Candice was indeed heading south towards the lakeshore. “You–you called what we do magic. Is that just a figure of speech, or–I don’t even know how to end that. What do you know about magic?”

Hmm, an almost subtle car with a flashy interior. Sounds expensive. Maybe Candice is well paid… the question is, will Tricia be willing to do what she has to, to earn that money, too?

  2. I hope Candice shares some useful tidbits here, such an intriguing story. Tricia is a lot calmer than I’d be – great 8!

Yes, it is crazy that November is gone. I did NaNo too! I failed 😦 LOL

Interesting conversation. Sounds like the main character is in for a bumpy ride.

    Keep smiling,
